Hawaiian lunch and entertainment at the Newark Senior Center

Sweetie and I enjoyed a Hawaiian lunch and great entertainment at the Newark Senior Center. The Center’s ukulele class led by volunteer Ace Chong strummed their favorites, while volunteer Stephanie Willits performed her graceful Hula dancing.

Our street block was visited by the Newark Police Department, Fire Department,  Ready Active Volunteers Engaged in Newark (RAVEN), Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and McGruff the crime dog.
